Yet another collaboration with the fine people at Parthenon Publishing. Even though I maintain a handful of my own go-to design devices... typefaces, color schemes, etc... I try to explore different styles with each new project. When this project came into the queue, I thought "You know, I haven't really dug into the multi-horizontal-band-web-2.0 layout". That's not meant to be sarcastic at all, I really hadn't. Say what you will about the repeated use of this type of layout, it gets the information-organization job done. The oversized text and and horizontally stepped layout leads the eye to where it needs to go. Hmm.
